Children and adults of all ages are invited to arrive in costume for this trick-or-treat suite. The orchestra will feature music from the Harry Potter films, along with Sioux Falls native and former South Dakota Symphony member Angelina Gadeliya playing Liszt's spooky composition, Totentanz. ALESSIO BAX, PIANO Following his wildly successful SDSO debut last season, renowned pianist Alessio Bax returns to the Symphony to perform Beethoven's Emperor concerto. Mr. Bax and his wife, Lucille Chung, will also perform a work for two pianos and orchestra by American composer John Adams. .

PAUL SANCHEZ, PIANO After performing throughout the U.S., Germany and Spain, Sioux Falls native Paul Sanchez returns to play a concerto for piano and orchestra by Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo. Orff's dramatic Carmina Burana, featured in films such as Excaliber and The Hunt for Red October, concludes our symphonic season. .
