	NOV. 1, 2009 - 2:30 PM ANGELINA GADELIYA, PIANO Stage Fright: A Scary Music Night Children and adults of all ages are invited to arrive in costume for this trick-or-treat suite. The orchestra will feature music from the Harry Potter films, along with Sioux Falls native and former South Dakota Symphony member Angelina Gadeliya playing Liszt's spooky composition, Totentanz. Repertoire: Dukas - Sorcerer's Apprentice Dance Macabre, played by Doosook Kim Liszt - Totentanz .

	DEC. 13, 2009 - 2:30 PM HOLIDAY POPS CONCERT A Nutcracker Collage Sponsored by The Empire Mall and DAKOTACARE The Symphony returns for an annual favorite, a holiday pops concert featuring selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, along with everyone's season favorites.

	FEB. 7, 2010 - 2:30 PM ANNUAL MAHLER CELEBRATION Sponsored by Swift Contractors and The Market on Phillips Continuing its annual Mahler festival, the South Dakota Symphony presents Symphony No. 5, one of Gustav Mahler's best-known and most loved works. . Repertoire: Shostakovich - Piano Concerto No. 2 in F major, Op. 102 Sakiko Ohashi, pianist Mahler - Symphony No. 5 .

	MAR. 21, 2010 - 2:30 PM ALESSIO BAX, PIANO Following his wildly successful SDSO debut last season, renowned pianist Alessio Bax returns to the Symphony to perform Beethoven's Emperor concerto. Mr. Bax and his wife, Lucille Chung, will also perform a work for two pianos and orchestra by American composer John Adams. . Repertoire: Adams - Grand Pianola Music Beethoven - Leonore Overture No. 3 Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 5 "Emperor" .

	MAY 2, 2010 - 2:30 PM PAUL SANCHEZ, PIANO After performing throughout the U.S., Germany and Spain, Sioux Falls native Paul Sanchez returns to play a concerto for piano and orchestra by Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo. Orff's dramatic Carmina Burana, featured in films such as Excaliber and The Hunt for Red October, concludes our symphonic season. . Repertoire: Orff - Carmina Burana Rodrigo - Piano Concerto .
