The master/pupil relationship continues to thrive in the music profession, with few legacies rivaling that of Beethoven and Haydn. John Tomkins will perform Carl Maria von Weber’s Bassoon Concerto, and audiences will revel in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 which concludes the program.
