East meets West in this fascinating tour of music. Internationally acclaimed violinist Elissa Lee Koljonen joins the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra for the violin concerto of the Iranian-born Behzad Ranjbaran. To conclude the program, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra takes you back in time a thousand years for Rimsky-Korsakov’s passionate and exotic retelling of the literary classic Arabian Nights.
