Play a part!

Our orchestra is made up of more than talented musicians. Our very existence is due to the generous support of individuals and corporations who believe that what we bring to our community and state has value for everyone. Subscriptions and ticket sales provide 51% of our budget. Concerts as well as our many outreach programs are also funded through grants and fees, but it is the generous individuals and corporations who make the biggest difference. Your generosity provides over 25% of our budget. We couldn’t do what we do without you. Please consider a contribution to keep great music and music education alive for our children and our community.

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is receiving praise for its highly artistic performances and its mix of traditional and innovative programming. But what are the musicians up to when they aren’t in their chairs?  Click here for a letter from Maestro Delta David Gier.
